Epoxy Flooring Refurbishment at the Historic Old Bailey, London
Shier Coatings completed a 538m² epoxy flooring refurbishment within the underground custody-suite vehicle area at London’s historic Old Bailey.
The existing floor was fully diamond-ground and vacuumed before applying OT Primer. The floor was then finished with a hard-wearing, 100%-solids epoxy coating in Mid Green and Black, with a non-slip finish applied throughout.
The project also included complete safety demarcation, clearly marked pedestrian walkways, step edges and safety hatching with chevrons around the vehicle turntable area. The finished system provides a durable, easy-to-clean surface with clearly defined pedestrian and vehicle zones.
